Stone Hollow is located on 42 acres in rural Cascade, Iowa, on the same property as our family’s home, affording us the proximity to provide loving care for your four-legged friends at all hours. Since 2007, Certified Professional Trainer, Tory Topping, his wife Abby, and their children, have offered solutions, training, and education for all dogs and their families.
OUR FACILITY
Located in rural Dubuque County, Iowa, our facility at Stone Hollow is located on the Topping Family’s Century Farm property down a winding country road in East Central Iowa. Our 42 acres of training ground allow us the flexibility to give our four-legged friends indoor and outdoor training and recreation options.

Tory J. Topping
Certified Professional Trainer, Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools
Graduate of National K-9
Member International Association for Canine Professionals
Elementary Education Degree, University of Northern Iowa
Whether playing with the dog on his grandfather’s farm as a young boy or working with search and rescue dogs in a professional capacity, Stone Hollow Head Trainer, Tory Topping has had a life of canine companionship. After seven years teaching in an elementary school setting, Tory decided to turn his hobby of working with dogs into a full-time profession in 2007 when he opened Stone Hollow Dog Training and Boarding. He saw an opportunity to use his background in education to not only train dogs, but to help people make their relationship with their pets even better. Over a decade later, Tory and Stone Hollow have been able to just that. With a focus on establishing trust, boundaries, and consistent routines, Tory and his team at Stone Hollow have been able to offer personalized training, boarding, and started dogs to families across the Midwest.
OUR FAMILY
Stone Hollow Dog Training & Boarding is a family-owned and operated small business. Head trainer and owner, Tory, is joined by wife, Abby, in all business operations from attending to dogs, to scheduling and managing the office. Topping children, Ashley, Trenten, and Adelyn, join in to help with outdoor recreation time, clean kennels, and of course, provide loving cuddles and snuggles while your canine companions are away from home.
When your dog stays with us, it is our goal to give him or her a loving home away from home.

In addition to feeding and selling Purina Mills products, we are also active within the Land O’Lakes program, attending conferences, speaking at events, hosting demonstrations, visiting Purina Farms in St. Louis, and educating dogs and their owners on the benefits of Purina Mills nutrition. For over ten years, we have been part of Land O’Lakes Purina’s efforts across the country to help advance their mission of connecting pets and people to build strong communities and shape a better world.
