TRAINING

When you bring home a puppy or a rescue, you add a member to your family. Just like a new baby, a dog requires time and training to learn how to be part of your family and how to live in your home. Our approach to training at Stone Hollow is similar to sending a child to school. We take a balanced approach to teach your dog obedience as a way of life–not just to get affection or a treat. Our programs are tailored to each dog and family, providing tools for effective communication for both dog and owner.

At Stone Hollow, we provide training scenarios to best fit you and your lifestyle. From one-on-one training sessions, educational seminars, and more to fit you and your canine companion’s needs. We train all breeds of all ages and walk through a specific system to ensure a successful experience.

EVALUATION LESSON - $85

A one-on-one meeting where head trainer, Tory, can meet and assess the needs of you and your dog.

WE COVER:

  • Current obedience status

  • Your goals and expectations from training

  • Assessment of your dog’s personality and temperament

  • Any questions you have about your dog or the next steps of our training program

YOU LEAVE WITH:

  • Information about your dog’s behaviors

  • Tips for working with your canine

  • Action steps that begin helping you and your dog that very day

  • Recommendations for further training

  • An indication if Stone Hollow is the right fit for you and your pet

**Evaluation lessons take place during the week, and typically last 45 minutes

RESIDENCY TRAINING

Foundation Program - $1895

A 7-10-day training program including leash obedience, socialization, manners, and basic e-collar training (heel, sit, down, place and come). During Foundation, your dog stays with us at our state-of-the-art training facility. We have large in-door training areas and plenty of outdoor space to train your dog right; visit our about page to learn more about our facility.

FOUNDATION PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • training

  • boarding

  • go-home lesson at time of pick-up

  • a private lesson post-residency & four group lessons at your and your pup’s pace through the year

  • E-collar with remote (if electric collar is not preferred to be used by owner, a Klimb stand will be submitted for collar)

LEASH-FREE PROGRAM with Electronic-Collar - $2250

A 14-17-day program; this is the complete package for your pup and your family. With Leash-Free, we expand upon the Foundation program and advance the commands in the leash-free world to unlock your dog's potential and give them the freedom and life they long for. Our trainers at Stone Hollow will leash-train basic and advanced commands; teach manners, socialization, and move away from the leash to perform commands without the need for a leash. We utilize an advanced electronic collar system that provides reminders to your pet and reassurance for the owner when you return to your home setting.

LEASH-FREE PROGRAMS INCLUDE:

  • training

  • boarding

  • go-home lesson at time of pick-up and a private lesson post-residency, with four group lessons as needed through the year

  • E-Collar with remote (we have owners that already have a collar they can utilize or may prefer a different brand then what Stone Hollow carries, or may need a two-collar system, versus a one-collar system, etc - if using own collar, we will substitute a Klimb stand for collar, and is purchasing a dual collar system or higher, there will be an extra charge added to residency price.)

Private Lessons - $105 each

With our private lessons, the focus is on you and your dog. Tory is your personal coach, watching your interactions to educate and support owners about their dogs and reinforce obedience training for canines and owners.

CANCELLATION POLICY

At Stone Hollow, we understand that things happen in life that force us to change plans. If that happens to you, we ask that you kindly provide us 48-hours’ notice to cancel or schedule a change to your training stay or lessons. If we are unable to re-book your time space or reserved run due to inadequate notice, Stone Hollow will charge your credit card a $25.00 cancellation fee for each run reserved. Clients who fail to provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice for early pick-ups will be charged for the entire scheduled reservation.
